The 2018 BBC Proms begin tonight on RNZ Concert: we find out what RNZ Concert listeners can look forward to every night over the next eight weeks. We will also have a matinee concert each Tuesday at 1pm on Upbeat.

Te Ahi Kaa a string quartet of siblings from Northland has won the annual NZCT Chamber Music Contest. Clarissa Dunn speaks with the winning quartet, the head of the judging panel violinist Wilma Smith and we feature their winning performance of Schubert’s Death and the Maiden.
