Jazz ensemble Unwind has just released their third album, Saffron. This time they're a quartet, made up of Hayden Chisholm (saxophone, sruti box, throat singing), pianist Norman Meehan, Paul Dyne on bass, and drummer Julien Dyne.
The ensemble has been back in the country to tour the album. David Morriss talked with Hayden Chisholm and Norman Meehan about their lives overseas, the joys of collaboration, and taking risks in music.
"The only thing that's impossible," says Hayden, "is sneezing with your eyes open".
