New Zealand ensemble Archi d'amore Zelanda has just released an album on the Atoll label, Imagined Dances, which features New Zealand compositions commissioned for the trio's interesting combination of guitar, cello, and viola d'amore.
Donald Maurice brought his beautiful viola d'amore into the studio and told David Morriss about the instrument and how he came to learn it.
