New Zealand-born baritone Chris Bruerton has been a member of the close harmony ensemble The King’s Singers since 2012 when he lucked into one of the most sought-after professional singing jobs in the world.

Eight years and many hundreds of concerts later, Chris is now the second-longest-serving member of the six-man line-up that began in 1968.

The King's Singers' mission is 'finding harmony', using their singing to 'find unity in a world which is more divided than it has been for a long time'.

The King’s Singers haven’t been able to perform much this year - instead they’ve upped their online presence with music videos recorded in their own homes.

Last time the King’s Singers performed in New Zealand was in March 2018 as part of their 50th anniversary global tour. Eva Radich caught up with Chris Bruerton recently and asked him what brought him home this time.
