    To mark the centenary of the death of Schubert the 'Columbia Graphophone Company of Great Britain' held a much-publicised competition for composers to submit a completion of Schubert's 'Unfinished' Symphony.

    Were they serious? Well, there were 513 entries but the winning work became known as the 'Dollar Symphony' and caused an international controversy. Presented by Steve Danby (RNZ)
