    Describing their style as 'Chinagrass', Hanggai perform their own adaptations of traditional songs from the Mongolian grasslands. The band's made up of young musicians from Beijing and Inner Mongolia, and was formed after leader Ilchi (former front man for a punk band) was inspired by traditional overtone singing (World Connection 943086)
