    Mali Denhou - Boubacar Traore

    Mali Denhou (Mali's Youth) is an album from Malian bluesman Boubacar Traore. The guitarist, singer and songwriter was a national celebrity during the early years of Mali's independence in the 1960s, and after a decline in popularity in the 70s and 80s made a comeback with the release of Mariama in 1990.

    On Mali Denhou, Boubacar Traore is joined by French harmonica player and long-time collaborator Vincent Boucher (Lusafrica 562492)
