The American Samoa government-owned Rainmaker hotel has been ordered to pay more than 400-thousand US dollars in bills to the America Samoa Power Authority.
The High Court decision said that between May the 15th and until the full outstanding debt is paid, the amount will continue to accrue 6 percent interest.
Court documents said that as of March this year, the hotel's outstanding utility bill is 439 thousand 966 dollars.
The court granted the Power Authority's request for summary judgement and dismissed a motion for a trial.
The Power Authority is owned by the territorial government.
