Niue's premier, Young Vivian, and his three member Cabinet have been
re-elected unopposed when nominations for the June 7th general election closed.
Some seats have been unopposed but others are being contested.
In the main village of Alofi South four long-time residents are seeking election to the Legislative Assembly.
Nineteen nominations have been lodged for the six common roll seats with previous Assembly members seeking re-election.
One candidate is the island's veteran Secretary of Justice Togia Sioneholo.
