Pacific people in New Zealand have once again been recognised in this years Queens Birthday honours.
Samoan Musician, Che Fu, received the Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit or MNZM for services to music.
Che Fu is one of New Zealands most successful hip hop male vocalists, generating six top ten hits over a period of 10 years and wining a number of awards.
Le'autuli'ilagi Sauvao also received an MNZM for services to the Samoan and Community in Porirua just north of Wellington for 30 years.
She is notable for her research on the transition of Samoa Aoga Amata children to primary school.
Picking up the Queens Service Medal is Au'Birthly Kingi for her work in Auckland with the Pacific and Niuean community, principally in the field of education.
Mele 'Ilaisipia Robson picks up the QSM for her work with the Pacific community in Blenheim in the South Island for 25 years.
She was also involved with the St John Ambulance for ten years.
