The Fiji Sugar Corporation has recorded an operating loss of 21 million US dollars before income tax for the year ended the 31st of May 2009.
In its annual report, the company says the loss for the year after income tax benefit of 1.7 million dollars is just more than 19 million dollars.
According to the Fijivillage website, the FSC's Chief Executive, Deo Saran, says the corporation incurred a trading loss of 3.1 million dollars compared to a trading loss of 12 million dollars in the previous year.
