The Tautua Samoa party is calling on the Prime Minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, to investigate several car accidents involving cabinet ministers and top public servants.
The Minister of Justice, Unasa Mesi Galo, has admitted he was driving one of his ministry's vehicles which was involved in a car accident last Saturday.
The minister of education, Toomata Alapati Po'ese, was admitted to the national hospital suffering a broken leg after a separate accident on Savaii island on the weekend.
The party's chairman, Lealailepule Rimoni Aiafi, says the prime minister should have asked the education minister to quit because it is not the first car accident he's involved since becoming a government minister.
The prime minister has dismissed the allegations saying he will only comment on the accidents when he receives a police report.
Tuila'epa says the Tautua Samoa party MPs are simply looking to stir up trouble and cause controversy.
