A Samoa businessman says he is finding success with selling cooking oil made from coconut.
Uaea Apelu, who runs his family owned business Edutech, began selling his coconut cooking oil in stores in Samoa last year.
Mr Apelu is now sending three tonnes of his cooking oil to New Zealand each month, with stores in Christchurch the first to pick up his product.
He says one of the selling points of his product is that it is all produced organically without any added chemicals.
