Vanuatu's Minister of Finance, Willie Jimmy, has pleaded guilty to breaching the Leadership Code at a court hearing this morning in Port Vila.
He and 14 others are facing a charge of accepting a bribe and taking a loan in contravention of the Code.
They are also facing criminal charges over the bribe, allegedly paid to win their backing in a vote of no confidence battle last year.
The 14 other MPs have pleaded not guilty and will go to trial, which is expected to begin on Monday next week.
