A survey in Tonga shows that 94 percent of public servants are overweight.
The survey was conducted by the Health Promotion Unit of the Vaiola Hospital last month.
The head of the NCD/Health Promotion Unit of the Ministry of Health, Dr 'Ofa Tukia, says the survey was part of an awareness programme on non communicable diseases or NCDs.
Dr Tukia says one challenge is to alter eating habits and make lifestyle changes.
