Guam have suffered a 3-2 defeat against Hong Kong in their opening match of the men's East Asian Cup second round.
Alex Tayo Akande gave the hosts the lead on 19 minutes with a headed effort before Alessandro Ferreira Leonardo doubled their advantage three minutes later.
Akande made it 3-0 from the penalty spot midway through the second half before Matao captain Jason Cunliffe got the visitors on the score-sheet with a second chance header, with 16 minutes remaining.
Shane Malcolm then latched onto Cunliffe's free kick to cut the deficit to 3-2 in the 81st minute but Guam were unable to find an equaliser.
Guam's next match is against North Korea, who defeated Chinese Taipei 2-0.
