Nine tonnes of kiwifruit is being distributed to schools mainly around Suva with several companies combining to provide the fruit free of charge.
It comes after twenty tonnes of kiwifruit from New Zealand was given out to school children in August.
Kiwifruit company Zespri's external relations manager Nick Kirton said they had such a positive response to that delivery they decided to do it again.
"That's still an area of having access to healthy nutritious fruit that needs to improve," he said.
"It's a small thing we can do to help, but we have the fruit and they need the fruit and working together with T&G, with Weatherall's Transport, and Maersk Shipping we teamed up again to just do something we think can make a positive contribution to that community."
Nick Kirton said the New Zealand horticulture sector was reliant on workers from the Pacific and had a responsibility to give back.
