Two of Samoa's district court judges have been promoted to become Supreme Court judges.
They are Justice Vaepule Alo Vaemoa Vaai and Justice Leiataualesa Vaitimu Darryl Clarke.
A source at the Ministry of Justice and Courts Administration says the two judges will be sworn in before the head of state, Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi, in a ceremony on Wednesday.
Vaepule Vaemoa Vaai has been a judge for the district court for nearly two decades but Leiataualesa Vaitimu Darryl Clarke was appointed in January this year.
