A Saipan casino developer wants a six-month extension on its deadline for its planned Imperial Pacific Resort, citing a series of reasons for the delay.
Imperial Pacific International wants to extend the 36-month deadline to 42 months for it to complete the $US190 million dollar casino resort that will have 400 hotel rooms and a casino with more than 200 gaming tables and over 300 slot machines.

These included limited cement supply, unpredictable ground conditions, de-watering issues, an air rights agreement for tower cranes, the lack of readily available skilled labourers and bureaucratic hold ups.
