The US National Park Service said that spending supported 21 jobs in the area, creating a cumulative benefit to the local economy of just over $US2 million.
Park Superintendent Scott Burch said he was thrilled that so many people had been to the national park.
The national park in American Samoa is one of the 60 parks throughout the United States and its territories.
