Relief supplies are being flown to New Caledonia's Lifou island which was worst hit by Cyclone Donna this week.

A military plane is taking supplies to the island where the storm destroyed about 100 homes.

The Catholic church has also launched an appeal to help those hit on Lifou and on the main island's east coast.
