The dengue epidemic in New Caledonia is over.
The government issued a statement to say that on advice from the health authorities the epidemic declared on January 5th has ended.
It said people need to remain vigilant to avoid a recurrence as the weather is starting to get hot and humid again.
11 people died of dengue this year.
