The Samoa government has reiterated Virgin Australia cannot run any more flights between Samoa and Auckland.
But it's given the green light for the airline to run flights between Australia and Samoa.
The Prime Minister of Samoa, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, reprimanded Virgin Australia, saying it was selling tickets for flights from Auckland to Samoa after the decade-long Virgin Samoa joint-venture ends in two weeks time. (on the 13 Nov).
Tuila'epa told reporters the decision had been passed on to the management of Virgin but no direct response has been received.
Instead according to the prime minister the airline has sought help from the Australian government on Samoa's decision.
