The Fiji Public Service Commission has suspended the permanent secretary for Youth and Sports, Iowane Tiko.

This comes amid an ongoing investigation by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Mr Tiko had been heading the Education Ministry until the end of January when he was replaced by Alison Burchell, who up until then was running Youth and Sports.
No reasons for that change had been given.
The Public Service Commission said it would soon announce who will become the acting permanent secretary for Youth and Sports.
