Ten people have been charged in French Polynesia over a prostitution racket that allegedly included minors.
Reports say seven people have been arrested.
They include three women accused of organising a network that used a Tahiti hotel as well as apartments.
The police acted after a three-month investigation which revealed that girls as young as 14 worked as prostitutes in exchange for either money or methamphetamine.
According to local media, seven women, including two under the age of 16 have testified to the investigators.
One of the accused is reportedly a director of a major company who also faces a rape charge.
