Niue cabinet minister, Billy Talagi, has been charged with assaulting fellow MP Terry Coe.

Mr Coe had complained to police that Mr Talagi, who is the Justice, Health and Education Minister, punched him in the face after a heated debate in parliament.
Mr Talagi, who is the brother of the premier, told RNZ Pacific at the time that the incident didn't take place, that it was nothing more than a rumour.
Niue's Chief of Police, Tony Edwards, said a court date was yet to be set.
