The last of ten inmates who had escaped New Caledonia's prison nearly four months ago has now been recaptured.

Brandon Taramoin was arrested in Canala on the main island's east coast.
Reports said he was caught in an early morning operation after police had been infomed as to his whereabouts.
Taramoin had been serving a jail sentence for robbery.
Seven of the men were apprehended quickly after their escape from Camp-Est prison in Noumea.
