Disabled people in New Caledonia have taken to the street to demonstrate against repeated burglaries at their organisation's office.
The public broadcaster said they and their supporters marched through Noumea's Montravel neighbourhood, chanting 'stop stealing'.
This comes just days after a break-in at the office in which a customised vehicle for disabled people was stolen and later found burnt out.
The vehicle, which was worth about $US70,000, was used to transport dozens of handicapped people, including many children.
The organisation said money had also been stolen in the burglaries which have continued despite efforts to tighten security.
There have been no arrests over the incidents.
