The King of Tonga's cousin has been laid to rest in Tokomololo after her death in Auckland last month.
Princess Lavinia-Mata-'o Taone was buried in a ceremony on Saturday at the Langi ko Huelo 'o Hangai Tokelau in Tokomololo.

Princess Taone, who was 66 years old, was a first cousin of King Tupou VI.
She was married to Lord Ma'afu Tukui'aulahi and had two children.
She passed away on June 22 in Auckland where she had lived for many years.
