Delegates from the US Coral Reef Task Force are visiting a unique site in American Samoa before the start of a disaster preparedness meeting this week.
More than 50 delegates are expected but some have already arrived in the territory to see the area they will be talking about.
The Director of Marine and Wildlife Resources, Vaamua Henry Sesepasara, said they would be taken to Manu'a to dive at a famous coral head called 'Big Mama', the biggest in the world.
"It's bigger, almost the size of a Samoan fale and on the opposite side of Ta'u [village] is 'Big Papa' that was recently discovered," he said.
"All these people from off-island are interested to dive and witness these two major coral heads."
