Reports from Fiji say members of the ruling FijiFirst party have been inside the Attorney-General's chambers since yesterday amid attempts to serve them with legal documents challenging the election result.
Islands Business reported key members of the party had been inside the chambers since mid-morning on Tuesday.
Fiji's opposition SODELPA and National Federation parties had been given until 4pm today to serve the documents as part of their petition challenging results of last month's election.
The High Court ruled yesterday the papers had to be served to the MPs individually and the petition would be struck out if the respondents were not served within 24 hours.
Islands Business quoted sources close to the building owners saying guards were instructed yesterday to seal off Suvavou House, where the chambers are located.
