Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will announce Fiji's inclusion in the Pacific Labour Scheme during a visit to Fiji today.
Australian media reported Mr Morrison, who landed in Suva this afternoon, will also unveil a $US12 million program to send 3,000 hours of Australian television content into the Pacific over the next three years.
There will also be a $US60 million education partnership with the University of the South Pacific to lift teaching standards.
Australia announced in November its plans to expand the migrant labour scheme to all Pacific Island countries and lift its cap of 2,000 places.
