There is no end in sight to a hotel strike in French Polynesia where 150 staff demand that four employees be reinstated.
The four men were sacked by the Intercontinental hotel Moorea last month after a female employee reported that she had been raped by them months earlier.
Last week, the four were detained for questioning but police laid no charges and freed them while they continue their investigation.
Local television said the strike, which has lasted several weeks, has incurred the hotel losses of $US2 million as the occupancy rate has plummeted to 30 percent.
