A tourist has been badly injured in a shark attack in French Polynesia.

Media reports say the 35-year-old woman was swimming off Moorea when she was mauled by a white pointer.
Reports say she suffered injuries to her arms and chest but remained conscious.
She has been flown to hospital to Tahiti.
Shark attacks in French Polynesia are rare.
