Guam has confirmed two more cases of Covid-19 bringing the US territory's total to 29 with one death so far.
Guam governor Lou Leon Guerrero confirmed the new figures last night.
According to the Guam Daily Post doctors say things are going to get worse before they get better with confirmed cases projected to exceed 100 by the end of the week.
The post reports all Covid-19 patients are in isolation at home or at the Skilled Nursing Unit in Barrigada Heights, while those needing constant medical attention are at the Guam Memorial Hospital.
Ms Leon Guerrero said she would be releasing more details of emergency restrictions in her executive order today.
"We are doing everything in our power and we will not stop until we can eradicate this virus from our island," she told the Guam Daily Post.
Godspeed @louleonguerrero - We continue to wish Guam the best. https://t.co/FpmKHobJS7
