Niue's premier has publicly announced that he's seeking a fifth term in office.
Sir Toke Talagi has been the island's leader since 2008, and has been an assembly member since 2002.
Niue's public broadcaster, BCN, said the announcement was made at the final sitting of the fono before the 30 May elections.
Sir Toke announced his intentions despite growing concerns about the 59 year old's health.
The premier spent much of last year in New Zealand for medical treatment and has since been wheelchair bound.
