Trial set in Fiji for Nausori murders

A trial date has been set for the man accused of murdering five people in Fiji's remote Nausori Highlands.

Muhammed Raheesh Isoof has been charged with murdering three adults and two children.

Nirmal Kumar, his wife Usha Devi, their daughter Nileshni Kajal and her two daughters Sana and Samarah were killed in August last year.

Mr Isoof also faces one charge of attempted murder, after an 11-month-old baby was found abandoned near the scene.

He has already pleaded not guilty and his trial will begin on 25 January.
