A second repatriation drill has been held in Tonga, to assess the readiness of testing facilities at the quarantine facility being set up at the Tanoa Hotel.
Health authorities said the drill aimed to test the processes in place for 50 arrivals and it included the scenario of discovering a suspected case.
Arrivals would remain at the Tanoa for 14 days before being tested once more and then released.
The quarantine facility will be guarded by security.
Tonga's government was aiming for a first repatriation of 50 citizens next month.
More than 7000 Tongans were thought to be stranded overseas by Covid-19 restrictions.
