The turnout in the Northern Marianas in Tuesday's election was just over 60 percent, with the Election Commission saying it went smoothly and wasn't as busy as previous years.
This has been attributed to the large numbers who had voted prior to election day.
In the Senate race, the Democratic Party's Edith Deleon Guerrero, the Torres administration's fiercest critic, scored an upset, beating incumbent Saipan senator Sixto Igisomar of the Republican Party.
One of the successful candidates in the House is Democrat Edwin Propst, who topped his precinct, despite not campaigning.
Propst resigned from the House last September citing stress, attacks on his name and cyber bullying, after he was accused of sexual misconduct while working as a teacher.
There is no indication whether he will take up the seat, but he did thank his supporters on Facebook.
US Congress delegate Gregorio Kilili Sablan won a seventh term, running unopposed.
