The file containing allegations against Fiji's Attorney-General has been returned to police by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is being investigated over a bombing incident more than 30 years ago.
According to the Director of Public Prosecutions, Christopher Pryde, the file had been sent to police for "further investigation".
Police submitted the file to Pryde's office after receiving a complaint in July this year against the Attorney-General's alleged involvement in the incident in 1987.
The Fiji Times newspaper reported police spokesperson Ana Naisoro saying the investigation file on Sayed-Khaiyum's alleged links to the 1987 bomb issue was submitted to the DPP last week.
When asked about the complaint at a recent media conference in Suva, the Attorney-General said police were carrying out their investigations.
