Four weeks after the first community case of Covid-19 in American Samoa the number of individuals who have tested positive for the virus has exceeded 1000.
Yesterday 140 people tested positive from 735 tests taking American Samoa;s total number of positive cases to 1005.
There were 4 hospitalizations yesterday.
94 individuals who have had the virus have since recovered.
On Tuesday government departments reopened after being closed for three weeks. Schools are still closed. Business hours have been extended from 5:00 am to 8pm.
