Covid-19 continues to have a significant impact around the Pacific.
Vanuatu
The Vanuatu Ministry of Health is reporting another 174 cases of Covid 19 in the 24 hours to midday Monday.
This takes the country's tally of infection since the beginning of this year to 952.
The entire country has been under Alert Level Three since a community case was discovered at Port Vila Hospital on March 4th.
American Samoa
The American Samoa Health Department has reported 159 new positive cases were confirmed on Saturday.
With the new positives, the cumulative total is now 1,495 of whom 216 have recovered.
No Covid related deaths have been reported.
Health officials said that American Samoa is still in the early stages of the outbreak, and there are going to be more cases.
In a statement yesterday the Health Department said; "although the rising case count may be alarming, you can live safely with the surge in cases."
66 new cases were recorded yesterday in Samoa, bringing the total there to 262.
The Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 1,510 tests were carried out by midday yesterday at seventeen screening sites.
In addition to the 247 community cases, 15 imported cases linked to a repatriation flight from New Zealand on 6th March continue to be monitored in isolation.
New Caledonia
New Caledonia has recorded another 102 Covid-19 cases, continuing this month's rapid decline in the number of new infections.
The latest figure, covering the three days since Friday, brings the total number of cases since September to just under 60,000.
The number of hospitalised Covid-19 patients is 25, of whom three are in intensive care.
The death toll remains at 307.
Since the beginning of last week, there has no longer been a need to show a health pass for access to venues and events, except health care facilities.
Earlier in the month, the seven-day quarantine requirement was lifted for arriving travellers who are vaccinated.

Cook Islands
In the latest update from the Cook Islands another 359 Covid-19 cases were recorded over the weekend.
There have been 835 cases in total with 476 having recovered.
Almost all the cases are on Rarotonga.
Kiribati
Kiribati recorded 6 new Covid-19 cases on Monday.
The health ministry reports there were 16 recoveries and the total number of people who have contracted the virus has been revised to 3,051 - down from 3,061 from yesterday.
The nation remains under lockdown until the beginning of next month.
The government has relaxed the curfew time for South Tarawa, Betio, Buota and Butaritari - which now starts from 8pm to 5am.
The authorities say all businesses will close for business at 7pm to allow time for people to return to their homes.
A 6pm to 6am curfew restrictions remain in place for all other islands.
