The carrier had disrupted schedules for nearly two weeks as a dispute over the status of a co-pilot resulted in strikes and the airline intermittently halting services.
On Saturday, the unions announced the suspension of their action to allow school children to fly.
The unions say the government has agreed to organise a working group today, during which the unions can raise the grievances of all of Air Caledonie's employees.
They thanked the government for upholding a dialogue and apologised for the inconvenience caused to the public.
