Unofficial results have started coming in from elections in Palau, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
TMC Palau has shared unofficial result showng that Surangel Whipps Jr is back in as president.
He was running against former four-term president Tommy Remengesau Jr.
According to the Palau Election Commission, the total number of registered voters as of 15 July was 16,627.
The Pacific Daily News is reporting that Republican Delegate James Moylan is set to remain Guam's delegate to the US House of Representatives, while the 38th Guam Legislature is set to see the return of a Republican majority in January.
Moylan received 15,422 votes (52.69 percent) to Democrat Ginger Cruz's 13,703 (46.81 percent), with all 72 precincts tabulated as of 2:45 am Wednesday, local time.
Democrats secured three of the top five spots in the race for the Legislature, but Republicans won a majority with all precincts counted, taking nine spots to six for Democrats.
Commissioners still need to meet to certify the results.
The Marianas Variety reported that Kimberley King-Hinds as the winner for the CNMI's delegate to the US House of Representatives.
She had 4500 votes to Edwin Propst's 3787 - again from the unofficial count.
Citizens of the CNMI cannot vote for the US president, but the highlight of the general elections is the US delegate race, a position that has been held by Delegate Gregorio Kilili Sablan since 2009, when the islands began to have a non-voting representative in the US Congress.
Meanwhile, American Samoa's voting day has kicked off alongside the US election today, with results expected this evening.
