The Solomon Islands' minister for women, Freda Tuki Soriocomua, says women need to have more confidence in each other if they are to achieve political leadership.
According to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Solomon Islands has the sixth worst representation of women in parliament in the world.
Mrs Soriocomua, the country's only woman MP, and is only the third woman to make it to parliament in the 39 years since independence.
Koroi Hawkins asked her if she had seen any change in attitudes towards women in leadership.
