There is a plea for aid to help move Carteret Islanders to the mainland of Bougainville as their atolls become increasingly swamped.
The remote Carterets have been suffering the impacts of both climate change and subsidence for years.
An NGO, Tulele Peisa, has been working to move them to the mainland but it is short of money to build housing at sites provided for the islanders.
Don Wiseman spoke with the leader of Tulele Peisa, Ursula Rakova, and began by asking about progress so far at her first site, which was donated by the Catholic Church, at Tinputz on Bougainville Island.
