An expedition off the Solomon Islands coast has found the wreck of American World War 2 ship, the USS Juneau.
The light cruiser was sunk by a torpedo on Friday 13th November 1942 during the Battle of Guadalcanal, with all bar 10 of the 687 crew losing their lives.
It was found at a depth of 4000 metres just a few kilometres off the Guadalcanal coast.
The vessel's find is the latest by an expedition funded by philanthropist Paul Allen, using both autonomous and remote controlled underwater vehicles.
It and follows the discovery of the aircraft carrier, USS Lexington, in the Coral Sea, earlier this month..
Don Wiseman spoke with a public affairs expert at the US Pacific Fleet headquarters at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, Dave Werner, and began by asking him about the significance of the find.
