Vanuatu cricket coach Shane Deitz will watch his players from much closer quarters this weekend when he makes his international debut at the ripe age of 42.
The Australian-born wicketkeeper-batsmen made his first class debut 20 years ago for South Australia and originally retired in 2008 after a decade-long career at state level.
Deitz has been coaching Vanuatu since 2014 but told Vinnie Wylie a rule change by the ICC late last year means he's now eligible to play for his adopted country.
