The Asia Development Bank says it's not overly concerned about the effects of an unstable global order, an array of new donors, and sky-high debts in some Pacific countries.
In fact, the ADB's vice-president says the variety of interest and money provides a host of opportunities for the region.
And in the face of the rise of China and other donors, Stephen Groff says the bank, which mostly funds large infrastructure projects, is looking to change its ways to better compete.
Mr Groff has been on a whirlwind tour of Australia, New Zealand and Vanuatu.
He sat down with Jamie Tahana in Wellington, who asked him about some countries' debt to China, which has raised some concern of late.
