Pacific Island nations at the COP24 climate meeting in Poland are calling large emitting nations to account as efforts continue to convert the Paris Agreement into a rules-based international framework.
The talks in the city of Katowice have centred on the latest report by the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change which says urgent action is needed to keep global warming to a maximum of 1.5 degrees celcius above preindustrial levels.
